you need the PSB – psychological help center from the uni
This is an easy and fast way to get input on psychological problems while you are at uni. Starting to study means you are navigating a new environment with new people and relationships while figuring out how adulting is supposed to work. This is difficult for most people, if it’s getting too much, don’t hesitate to ask the professionals for help. Occasionally their waiting list is full, if that happens, try again after a month or so!
Importantly, however, the PSB is NOT therapy. You can take a maximum of ten appointments, and they are also not medically associated with you in any capacity. If you are looking for psychotherapy, you can either look for a small practice, or you can apply for a spot at the Hochschulambulanz, which is our university’s outpatient clinic where you can get long-term cognitive behavioral therapy. Keep in mind they have a very long waiting list so don’t wait for too long before applying!
